Lara Seng is a Regional Sustainability Coordinator responsible for developing tools and implementing actions in the field to realize Sodexo’s Better Tomorrow 2025 commitments including waste reduction, local and sustainable sourcing and fighting hunger. She is an inaugural member Sodexo’s Sustainability Education and Expert Development (SEED) community of practice, a cross-segment resource group dedicated to educating operators and sharing best practices to achieve organization’s sustainability commitments. She also serves as the National SEED Leadership Committee Co-Chair.
Prior to her current role, she served as an Area Marketing Coordinator in the Pacific Northwest. In 2003, Lara joined Sodexo as a Director of Retail Operations at Loyola Marymount University, where she oversaw marketing, financial and operational
functions of four retail outlets which served over 6,500 customers daily. She is a member of the Western Washington Organics Contamination Reduction Workgroup (OCRW) as well as the GBCI Zero Waste Advisory Group.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and is also a LEED Green Associate and Zero Waste Business Associate.
